So, I'm thinking of getting a solid state amp and am considering the JC-120. What are some differences in production years, etc...? Is one more desireable (pre-effects loop, post-effects loop models)?
I've looked at the reviews on HC, but they're not too helpful/objective.
There are differences from year to year but I don't know the details. The old ones had flip switches for chorus/vibrato while the last ones built use a rotary switch instead. My own 70s JC doesn't have an effects loop. That would be an improvement if the later ones have it.
