Here's the serial numbers I've collected for BF-2s. You can see that there are some missing information here so if you have a BF-2 that isn't already listed, please post your serial number and label colour. Also great if you say whether your BF-2 has all black or black/white knobs. Unfortunately I forgot to write this down when I collected serial numbers from Ebay.
We can already conclude that the BF-2 moved from orange to pink labels July 97. The other crucial dates can be narrowed more down so I need your help. |

Ink pad serial 0400 Siver Screw. Black label. Label has Use a coin...... on it. Made In Japan. Black Switch. All Black Knobs with Red indicator line.
The black knobs are single piece moulding.

You're right. That doesn't seem to fit in. I've collected some more numbers since the last pic and the earliest green label is now 431900 so there's a few green labels before your black label. Did you buy it used? Any chances the bottom plate has been switched? |
