Anyone out there know how I can access/change patches in the Dr 880. While it starts and stops my RC50 looper and sends it correct tempo information, it allows me to start recording at the start of a drum phrase during song playback on the DR 880 then promptly deletes the recording and starts recording again, or switches the RC50 to a different phrase. I have set the DR880 up as the master and the RC50 onto Auto in the sync dept. I have manuals for both units however these are close to useless in the Midi area. I have read the manuals from cover to cover and realise there is a lot of critical info scattered about the manuals not mentioned in the relevant chapter. I also notice playback of some songs or patterns in the DR880 always go to the same RC50 phrases.
This problem does not occur with playback of all song or patterns in the DR880, just some.
I believe the problem starts in my ignorance of the DR 880 midi patches.
