Question about the backlit screen on the Boss DD-20.

Is there any way to set the pedal, so that the light will come on and STAY on, once the unit is powered up?

On mine it comes on for about 30 seconds before switching off. Then I have to press the two buttons underneath for it to come on premanently. This little extra step is very annoying, esepcially with limited on stage set-up time!

Any help would be great!!!

There is no way to change it.
It' just one of those things you get used to.

Are you sure?!?!?!? That would really suck.

I swear the guitar player in my old band never had to turn his on, it always stayed that way.

i sympathize w/ you being a DD-20 user as well but there is no way you're so pressed for time that you can't press those two buttons...
