SG-1 gone already. Doh, I should read the forum every 15 minutes rather than every hour No worries, I broke the budget on the VB-2 and should reduce the shopping for a while now. |

I have a CE-2B myself. I am very satisfied with it, but I cannot compare it to a CEB-3. So, if you can, please let us know the result. |

I've tried the CEB-3 and to my ears it doesn't sound as good as the CE-2B. IMHO the CE-2B sounds a little thicker than the CEB-3. |

| Thanks Arcanon but can you not compensate for this with the 'Low filter' on the CEB-3? |

I'm talking about all the around sound of the chorus' in question. I just don't think that the CEB-3 sounds as good as the CE-2B. The low filter makes the CEB-3 a little more versitile, but it just doesn't have the same sound as the CE-2B. IMHO the CEB-3 has a thinner and kind of sterile sound to it, whereas the CE-2B has a warm and thick sound to it. it just may be the way I hear things as opposed to other ppl. I'd say that in terms of of versatility the CEB-3 is the way to go, but for the sake of sound I'd go with the CE-2B. |

Hey guys, picked up a CE-5 today just wondering on peoples thoughts. I was thinking about a CH-1 that was around but this came up for $50 Australian. So I figured you cant go wrong for that price.
Its in absolutely mint nick with only a very small scratch on the the right hand side.
Anybody who has a favoured setting for one of these please share. |

Got myself an XT-2 in mint condition today, and are testing it out. It certainly has a special kind of distortion, in a blend I havent heard before in any distortion pedal. I have noticed that its four knobs give plenty of soundsculpting and there are some cool sounds that can be dialed in I have seen. I guess its an aquired taste...
Even though its quite a recent pedal, its very short production span combined with a very special sound of its own is a good recipe for a very collectable pedal in time I believe.

This week I got a PW-2 (Mint with Box, Manual etc), a PSM-5 with Box, a DF-2 1st generation model, and a MZ-2 (this hasnt arrived yet so I cant comment on it)
I need to slow down on this pedal buying it's making me broke real quick. Although all of these pedals were good deals or I wouldnt have bought them. Although the DF-2 cost me a little more than I wanted to spend on one, but I'll finally have one so it'll be worth it. |
