Say that again
Hey Natthu, I guess the silver pedal on the lower right is a switcher for your tuner, but what is that crazy looking pedal next to it?
And since the board is stereo out, what 2 amps do you plug it in? |

Hey Dirk, Yeah the silver pedal is a home made double A/B switch (I plan on replacing it with a better one yet to be built). I use the other A/B to route my guitar to the board - also for tuning purposes because I'm too lazy to unplug the tuner.
The crazy pedal is a Tychobrahe Octavium clone I bought off of a guy who does custom builds here in Aus. I love the effect but I do admit I originally bought it because of the groovy one off paint job (which I also love). It's basically like one of those BYOC kits with an awesome paint job. The insides are super neat - much better than I would be able to produce (which you would soon realise if you saw the inside of my silver double A/B switch )
For bass I currently have an Ampeg B2 head that I have on pretty much permanent loan from a friend. My plan is to get something similar for the other channel. I have an 8x10" cab which I'm going to re-wire so it can be switchable to two 4x10" groups (like how a Marshall 1960Lead cab can be split). It will be thumping loud and stereo!!

Are you running all those pedals on batteries!!!
Surely you'd what to use the built in Behringer one, yet I can't see any power connectors. |

P.S... How do you put an image right on the forum without a link? Spent a little time with no luck...?

Hey Blackrash, I've been wondering how those TC SCF pedals sound... Aparently they are pretty awesome. How do you like yours?

Backrash, does that guitar I can barely see in your photo happen to be a strat? I think I have the same one.

Sorry to go off topic, just curious is all. |

Hey Natthu!
I picked this up used from craigslist about 3-4 weeks ago, as you can see by the wear, tear, and missing speed nob... I have been playing with it for awhile, about 40+ hrs or so, and man... this thing is awesome! So awesome, that I don't dare practice with it, or I can't barely hear if I hit an unclean note.
Comes in 3 modes:
Chorus: My favorite. the best chorus I have ever heard... really! Can make a small effect or really get some emotional stuff depending on knob settings.
Flanger: I don't use the flanger mode to much. I haven't really compared flangers either, as I have not really got into them... Sorry.
Hybrid chorus/flanger mode: If you hit the toggle in the middle you get a little flanger in your chorus. It sounds really nice (Eric Johnson like)! This effect is pretty strong though, but you can bring it down with the speed, width, and intensity knobs to basically where you desire.
Still have a lot to learn with this new toy, but I have not a single bad thing to say..... In fact, with the DD-7... Ooooooohhhh baby it sounds great!
er...
Ok! 1 bad thing! The power supply is not detachable... this is a real bummer as you will always have a dragging line in your pedalboard...
Solution... Rack it! I am playing mostly at home, but if I were out playing right now, I would rack mount this. Solid metal body would allow for a drill and some screws to do the job

Looks like the exact same strat to me!

I have a 2007 USA made HSS mahogany body jumbo fret strat sir, I know they have been making more of these as years come through. In fact I saw a 2009 in GC the other day. What year is yours? You like it?
Mine absolutely sounds like angels! Not to mention I got it at an unbelievable steal!
I run it through a G60VR with tungsol tubes and soon to be celestion speaker... (whole set-up for about $250USD) Spent all my dinero on pedals recently, but when I get some more dinero saved I will upgrade to Fender amps and tubes... My buddy has a twin and it is the most amazing sound thing, I swear!
... and then when I get all my fame and fortune...
A MESA BOOGIE! Hahahahahaha! A man can dream right |

| I love mine. Mine is a 2007 as well. I think thats the first year they were produced if Im not mistaken. I was told (and it was advertised) at the time it was a GC exclusive, obviously thats not the case now. At the time I bought mine, they were selling for $999 new. They are now up to I think $1400. I got mine for $800 out the door. I hardly ever play mine, it was more of a dream guitar then a usable purchase. But the clarity on it is unbelievable. I wasnt expecting such an amazing sound from a stock fender humbucker. Definitely clearer sounding than my main guitar. I play it through my Mesa Boogie from time to time, when I have it set up. It sounds great. I love it. |

It was a special issue in 2007, got great reviews i believe, and then they brought it back for 2009 for like $500-$800USD more . I haven't seen a 2008, I assume there isn't one though. I also got mine for a screaming deal. Used, but not even a scratch on the guitar ! It had an extremely small bend in the neck, but I live in Arizona. Really hard to keep a guitar moisture right out here in the desert, so you see a lot of "slight" guitar size differences. Upkeep and small adjustments did the job perfect! |
