i just got my AW-2 today. $45 shipped..

it is much better than i thought. i figured a wah with an an auto sweep would sound horrid and be impossible to use. this sounds more like a real wah than the TW-1 and FT-2 (which are more like filters) but meh.

i like it better than my AW-3, but im afraid it doesnt touch the TW-1 thats for sure.

Hi Bossarea & Guys
This is by request from Starr36

It was a wonderful day yesterday, & a day filled with GAS.

I found the following:

Boss HF-2 Hi band Flanger MIT
Boss CE-5 Chorus Ensemble (the early one Pre. the change to the digital Circuit) August 1993 MIT
Boss DS-1 Distortion Mitsubishi M5223AL op-amp (Diggum12 loves these)
Behringer AM100 Acoustic Modeler - just missing the spring in the battery compartment.
AU$100 for the whole lot ...

The AM100 sounds very nice, all the pedals were in almost new condition the HF-2 was just a little marked

Still it was a great pedal shopping day today.

I also recently got the following:

Boss DF-2 Super Feedbacker & Dist MIJ
Behringer DD100 1.3 second digital delay
Behringer EQ700 7 band EQ like a quiet Boss GE-7
Shure SM58 Mic AU$50
AkG D65S green switch, hi-ball inst. & vocal Mic. for AU$50 as well
But the scoop of the lot was a Jimi Hendrix System Fuzz Unit from (MXR Dunlop)

Try finding out anything about this pedal, & you will hit brick wall, after brick wall.

With all these new toys. I am starting to sound a bit like Whurly.
Hi Whurly ...

And I forgot, I also bought an Ibanez Acoustic with pickup mounted, in the neck, for a good work friend of mine, for AU$100 haggled down from AU$220. that was a bargain buy for him..
It plays like a dream, I'm a bit sad I told him, that I found him such a nice guitar....

Regards Dr. Bob

I got a MIJ PS-2 for $50. It's in decent shape, but it is missing a knob so I'm on the lookout for a spare knob. I also traded a couple pedals straight up for a vintage Big Muff the same day. It's been a good week...now I just want to find an OC-2...

I have 3 OC-2s, but I can't resign to sell one...

I recently got a CS-3, and I just got a ME-8. But i'll tell you about the ME-8 in a dedicated thread.

MIJ PS-2, £55 my first remotely "vintage" pedal. i still await for it to arrive

yeah i was gonna get a PS-3, but i looke at the manuals, and the PS-2 looked more interesting to use, and a bit more a unique choice there are also a few about at the minute on ebay, so i took my chance

yeah. got the GE-7 for $125 (as opposed to around $150 - $180 in the local shops here) and the NS-2 for $120 (again opposed to about $150 on the local shops). i've found eBay's not too bad if you know what your doing, its easy to get sucked in but if you know what your looking for and how to get it, eBay can be a great tool to find a decent price.

Hi Stomp98
Yeah EvilBay has it's ups & downs.
Do you mind if I ask, what part of Oz you're in.
I'm near Berwick In Melb. Vic.

What sort of stuff do you play, & do you play on a regular basis?
sorry if it's too many questions.
I would have Private Mailed you (PM), but we just changed providers, & I can get incoming mail, but till have to config. the out going on our new address.

We went to ADSL 2+ with Optus, boy did we have some headaches, we were down * totally off-line for 3 days, while they gave us excuses.
See, they turned off our old ADSL & that's when things went wrong.
But we are partially back on-line now.

No Net for about 3.5 days, I actually had to go & talk with the wife & family & watch that thing , I think it's called TV.... Just kidding.

I will post my new email address, as soon as I can config. it, the old one works till about the 27th in Australian dates.

Regards Dr.Bob

Just got my 54€ shipped HF-2.

Green label, MIT, June 1990.

I set the inner trimpots right when I recieved it, as I allways do when I got a BBD device. Sadly, it isn't usable as a chorus, too much noise. It would have been fun.

I got it with the ugliest package ever. I took pics, I'lllet you see it...
