What are you guys looking forward to buy from what was introduced at the Winter NAMM 2008.

I'm crazy about the new js20th.
Although the new js1600PSV is Rather disappointing and strange. I don't know why Joe put a fixed bridge on it, although it would fit well for a Roland GK-3 to be put on.
Pictures are from Rich Harris He has 422 pictures of the Ibanez booth.

I'm rather excited about the new US Standard range of fenders
http://www.fender.com/makehistory/
the video with the musicians talking is worth the visit alone, but i was intrigued by the upgrades that they have all had - the new american standard strats feature new bridge saddles, a new high gloss neck varnish on the front with satin on the back and also the new paintjob Blizzard pearl - all things introduced on my 60th anniversary special edition Mex strat.
Either way, I'm after a tele well, at least I would be if I wasn't a poor student

I dig the new Fender stuff as well! Jaymz, you should look into some Squier Standard Telecasters as those are very good quality these days, and it'll let you get your Fender-jones taken care of while not breaking the bank...

Hi jaymzHal

Is that the whole link?

I can't seem to get anything to happen, maybe the Fender site is having a problem or is getting hammered tonight.

Hi Dr Bob, the link works for me! However, when I first saw it last night it was incredibly slow to the point of me giving up waiting and leaving it going in the background - it's like being on dial up all over again
It could be because there is a lot of interest as you say, plus there is a quite long and large video on the page.
As for the squier, I would be tempted, but I think i'd have to sell before I bought right now, and i don't think I'd get much for my old squier affinity strat
Any of the squier tele's in particular or all of them?
I think at heart I'm a tele player, despite not owning one or perhaps I just love buying guitars...

maybe it was just busy..i just clicked on the link and it worked fine....good interviews although i always associcate johnny marr with a gibson 355 with a bigsy...and even though i love jeff beck the bit where he is talking about his early days,in his early days with the yardbirds his main guitars were a fender esquire and a les paul..in fact he was using the les paul up to the mid/late 70's.... but i know he has been a strat cat for a long time now....

Hi Guys

Just in case you missed it in the pic of the JS20th anniv. at the top.
That's the silver surfer in between the pickups.

And it's a reproduction of Satriani's "Surfing With the Alien" CD & Record...
Yes he brought out on vinyl as well, I was lucky enough to get the Record in fact we found 2 from the same place.

For some reason they are holding back on wether that is the js20th or not. rumours are now going around that it's not. But it certainly seems to be stealing the show The silver server and the pickup rings actualy seem to be one big piece of metal.
