| Does anyone have this effect and if so, where in the chain does it go and what are your experiences with it other than that? I haven't heard it myself, but they come rather cheap, what gives? |

| I put it at the end of my pedal chain. When you first turn it on you will think it's broken because there's virtually no difference. If you play with it turned on for a while and then turn it off you will notice that it actually did quite a lot. |

| The EH-2 is a very useful pedal! it clears up the signal after it has been run through multiple pedals and adds harmonics back that were lost through the signals path. A very cool pedal! I whish I didn't sell mine. oh well, I guess i have to buy another one. |

| I think it does quite a poor job. I still have one that I bought real cheap a couple of years ago. I don't think it restores the lost harmonics. To my ears it adds a very unnatural treble/presence. It gives the guitar a sort of Hifi-sound that I don't desire at all. |

| I like EH-2 a lot, its great on Fenders (with single coils) adding a nice brilliance to the tone. BUT this pedal can be overused, if you put everything on full (well on this pedal its at position 1, kind of backwards). It IS a subtle pedal so one can be tempted to set everything for maximum effect. |

I have one to "spare", if anyone is interested. Tried it on bass, but didn't think it made enough difference :)
I use a D*D FX10 Bifet preamp to "save" my signal instead... |

| I just got my hands on one. I used to use an LMB-3 but it didn't make much sense with the two effects together. The effect is definitely an aquired taste. It doesn't seem to do much if you listen for it, but after you play and try to play without it, you'll wonder what happened to your sound. |

I'm going to be buying a marshall preamp (9004 SS, two channel, with EFX loop) and I'm thinking of running almost all of my modulation and delay through it (it's stereo). I want to put the EH-2 on one of the stereo outputs on either my CE-3, or DD-3. I've heard that alot of ppl put the EH-2 in their EFX loopand want to know if this is advisable (the preamp has a button to atenuate the signal from 0Db to -12Db to mate with rack gear or stompboxes). |

| I remember selling ( or rather not selling ) these pedals back in the days they were first introduced to the marketplace. We'd plug into it, then into the amp, and wonder, "What the hell does it do?" We even tried to give them away for free with any purchase. People declined! "You can use it as a boost at the very least!" we'd opine. For nought. Years pass. The folks @ Boss apparently weren't busy watching "Blossom". Oh? You run this after OTHER pedals? Duh. Think exciter/eqfilter with it's own scope in mind and you have this one nailed. You need it. Everyone does. It's like the Ritz Cracker of guitar pedals. It makes a great mock apple pie as well. |
