Hi all,
Well I recently asked Keeley and Analogman about the DS-2 Turbo Distortion and a possible Mod to it.
Analogman was the most responsive and told me that if enough people ask he would be interested in looking into it.
This is my question to him:
I have a Boss DS-2 Distortion pedal, the one with the 2 modes for smooth distortion and the other for a more Mid-Boost Distortion, and was wondering, is it possible to put in one of those dual knobs like the ones on the MT-2 Metal Zone and use it for the tone control so you can adjust the tone for each of the 2 specific Modes on the Pedal?
Analog Mike's response:
That would be a great mod but we have not tried those yet.
We will keep it in mind, and if enough people ask we will work on it
and see what we can do. We don't like to just go in and replace
things with better quality parts, we want to make a noticeable
improvement so it takes a lot of R & D to do it right.
