Hi, I'm new to the forum and this is my first post.
Please help me, I recently bought a dd3 (knowing it is not functioning properly, but cheap), version 3 I think (according to http://www.stinkfoot.se/andreas/diy/articles/DD3.htm); when I plug in the power the led lights very shortly and there is clean signal out from both outs (no problen there, I think), but when I try to engage it, sometimes it does it and sometimes not, and with a lot of noise, the switch make a very loud "click" and there is a constant loud "hum", and the guitar sound is distorted and at a very low volume.
Thanks in advance for your help guys, greetings from Chile.
pd: English is not my first language, sorry for any mistake. |

| Thanks Laurie, I've been trying to do something and I realized that the delay circuit is right because conected to an amp, when I engage it, it make a lttle noise (not from the input, but from the circuit itself) which can be changed with the pots (if I put it in hold position, the noise is holded; if I change the the delay time, the noise change its periodicity accordingly, etc.). So as there is signal in the direct out, I think there is no guitar signal entering the delay circuit, please correct me if I'm wrong (I have very basic electronics knowledge), thanks again. |
