The best pedal "purchase" I've made to date was getting a free Thomas Organ Crybaby. The switch was broken, so the guy just threw it in with a newer Crybaby that I bought for $20. I bought a new switch for $10 and sold the newer Crybaby for $30, so it was a wash!
As far as Boss pedals, I scored a metal thumb screw long dash DS-1 for less than $30 on ebay about 10 years back. I also bought a DM-2 for $65. |

My best deal didn't involve Boss pedals, but here goes:
After an hour's drive I paid 35 euro (!) for
- Vesta Fire Compressor - An original 80s Ibanez FL9 flanger - A (late 70s) Big Muff - An extremely rare Ibanez phaser the PT1000 - An even rarer EHX Talking pedal
I managed to sell the compressor cheap; kept the Big Muff and sold the one I had (reissue)for a fair price; sold the EHX pedal for 175 euro and looking to sell the Flanger (I own an MXR which I prefer). I kept the phaser, which is awesome.
So I made at least 250 euro off this deal and got to keep a cool sounding Big Muff and really rare and beautiful sounding phaser!
edit: and a deal that did involve Boss
- bought an Ph-1r for 50 euro, managed to sell it for 90!

After my AW-2, Fender double footswitch, folk DiMarzio pick-up found in a garbage, and a classical guitar found in another one, i recently made another good deal, 2 weeks ago a friend told me about an old amp he found in some abandoned building (really abandoned ), and he didn't use because he doesn't really play guitar, but he was unable to tell me the label, he didn't remember So i came to test it and discover with satisfaction that it was a Fender amp! i didn't know this model: SKX-15R, some kind of a Frontman 15-R, but with a contour control and a spring reverb (that makes spacy sounds when you shake it ) And he gave it to me, for free, i'll just pay him a bottle next time i see him

| Well I haven't got any great deals on boss pedals, but I've gotten a Fulltone Clyde Deluxe and a Rat2 for free. I consider those pretty good deals. |

I had a PH-1R and a DC-2 "thrown in" to a deal for an amp as a sweetener... not sure what value you could put on them, but it seems like a good price to me
