You know the one The crowd pleaser, the favourite request from your kids, the one pub really wants to here,
THE ONE YOU CAN'T STAND PLAYING. You stand there thinking "If you people really knew what I was doing you'd realize I'm playing absolute rubbish."
For me its Puddle of Mudd - She Hates ME

I've only played drums in other bands, never guitar though. the one song I HATED playing in the last band i was in was Sweet Dreams(The Marilyn Manson version) a really boring song, and even more of a bore for a drummer. |

At gigs we're playing 'Low' from Cracker as one of our covers and it's OK for now (very easy bass-line ) but if I have still have to play it in two years time, I will go nuts. |

I asked a bass player mate of mine this question and he came back with "Sweet home Alabama".
I've not played this song with him before so i cant really say but he reckons its the most mind numbing bass line to play |

He's right. There's no difference between verse and chorus. Sweet Home Alabama is truly dreadful. |

A band i was in years ago covered that song but insted of "Sweet Home Alabama" we rewrote it in to "Sweet Home Minnesota" That made it a little more fun to play and it seemed to go over well with ppl. |

Also "Wonderfull tonight" would be a good candidate (Unless you get to play the EC-solos, but me is just the bassplayer ) |

Hotel California I don't mind the song really, but around a campfire some years ago this girl forced me to play it all night, over and over again...
As a bassplayer I can totally agree on Sweet Home Alabama
Proud Mary? |

How about Mustang Sally? Every bar band in the world has to play that song. |

Same here, but substitute Jagermeister for beer. |
