Will the DD-7 take a line-level signal e.g. from a keyboard or the 'recording' output of a modeller etc, without clipping?

EDIT - also, is it fairly transparent-sounding? I want to connect it after the line output of my GT-8 for looping and frippertronic-style soundscape delay effects without it colouring the sound of the GT.

Lots of keyboard players use Boss (and other) effect pedals.

For delays I prefer the much more verstile DD20.

Yes, I may actually stretch the budget a little and get the DD20 if I can find one, mainly due to its long delay time - I'm basically after a Frippertronics pedal and a looper doesn't cut it as the loops don't slowly degrade and finally disappear into the background like they do on a delay.

DD-20 has a switch for line level - I run mine really hot at the end of the chain so I leave it set to line level and it works fine.

Can highly recommend the DD-20 as a good workhorse pedal.
