Sadly the Flanger lacks a Effect level knob like on Chorus and Delay pedals. This would be a great to make it give it more control over the balance of the wet/dry. Companies set them to about 50/50.
Most flangers seem to have the standard four knobs.
Why is the flanger the doubler without an E.Level knob? |

Flanging originated from people holding their finger on the flange of the tape reel of a tape delay unit, to slow down the reel speed and create a swirling effect. Flanger pedals try to mimic that effect. The volume level was not affected by that method, so flangers have no effect level control. |

How true. Running it through a LS-2 in A+B mix isn't the same either.
