It wouldn't turn on. C30 (one of the trigger capacitors for the flip-flop) was open circuit, so it wouldn't flip. I swapped the two trigger caps and it changed to not flopping, so it was easy to find. Never seen a fault in the flip-flop before.
It is from 1997 and in perfect condition. I think it has probably been faulty/flakey for years so has never really been used. Nice

It's interesting that we are starting to see more, & more faults on various Boss pedals. I suppose it's not surprising as the the pedals get older & older.
I have a sneaking suspicion, that the CE-2 that I gig with, has gone out of spec-calibration, It just doesn't have that CE-2 Zing any more.
