What do you use to make the sounds of Iron Maiden, Metallica, Kizz? This is three different sounds that takes some pedals to make. How do you do for that kind of sounds? I use humbuckers to make the fat sounds. faltarn |

I use my ESP explorer with 2 EMGs ( can't tell wich one it is, haven't open and checked yet ), and i used to have a random amplifire, together with 4-5 different distortion-pedals with clean sound on the amp.
Before i used to have 3 crapy behringer-pedals and Boss SD-1 + Bloody mary.
The Behringer-pedals sucked, but with the SD-1 and bloody mary, it worked really nice! |

If you mean what type of EMG's , you should be able to tell from the color of the logo on the pickup. Silver-81 gold -85 etc.

| The DS-1 gives me great 80's tones, like Maiden, Preist, ect. Get the MIT one, got mine under $30 on eBay. It sounds as good as my MIJ ones. |

| That could get you killed around here haha. Just kidding, though a 80s ds-1 is nothing like a 09 version |
