Yeah they seem a little pricey, but I mean they are a bit cheaper then monster cables... I don't understand why cables are so expensive. Well quality ones anyway. Just sucks for me since I have 12 pedals on my board. |

| Yeah lavacables are the best if you got the money. I have a set of core X2 cables which are great and a few sets of planetwaves patch cables (cheap but highquality standard length) the quality is better than your no brand patch cables |

Ive never tried the Boss patch cables. Cables do make a great difference to tone, I tested a few differen cables just straight between the amp and guitar. Some cables really supress the potential tones, but the difference between monster cables, dimarzio and planet waves is barely noticable. My favorite is dimarzio anyway, they never tangle up and are incredibly strong with the nylon web around it. Sinse I started giging I use the dimarzio and planetwaves. The planet waves gave up after two years, the jack broke as its made of 2 pieces and held together by a metal ring. though the mute plug is great. |

Mark's cables are indeed exceptional ; to recommend...I use myself CANARE GS-6, & they are very good. |

| Yeah I brought it from the other guitarist in my old band, it has the hi cut mod, and of course a change in the LED. |

UPDATE: Replaced my homemade board by a case; main reason is dust. I can close it and my pedals stay clean. This is how the board looks now:

CS-1 and DM-2/DM-3 are on my wishlist! It's so cruel to leave gaps... |
