I am getting a wicked humm when I switch the PSM-5 on wit my board.

Really quite signal from the pedals, but a wicked hum from the psm-5

It is doing it with both PSM-5, any ideas what I am doing wrong? I have the leads all sent right, checked each cable, and the all work fine. Could the daisy chain be faulty?

check the noraml, cables for all the pedals, most likely check the power supply. you can get a ground loop hum from there

Still getting my hum, when I try to use the send and return function from the PSM-5. If i just use it to powere the pedals and go from the guitar to my OD-1 and the last pedal in the chain to the amp, I get no buzz.

My patchs, daisy chain or all working fine.

I am using a Roland ACR-120 as the adapter. The orginal adapter that came with the pedal does not work. Do I need a different adpapter. Is there adiffernce between the PSA Adpater, and the ACR? Is the current flow differnt?

I think that the ACR-120 is a keyboard power supply. Check to see that the output is 9 volts DC and that the center pole is Negative. If these two things are not true then DO NOT USE it.

Yeah, it was the adapter, I tired a PSA-120T and it worked fine. Called BOSS and they said the new PSA-120S will do the job.

I know this sounds dumb but are you sure it not another pedal in the loop.I would try the new power supply and run the other pedals on battery for a test. i think most likely is is the power supply giving the problem
