So I put the DMM to the switch points and yep as Bob said earlier - switches used in boss pedals are normally open/off. True for the RC-20XL aswell as the DD-6. I guess true for every all boss pedals?

I put some internal shots of the RC-20XL in the internal thread if anyone is interested in having a look.
