Then you need to try flats...they nail the "thuddy" sound(I say this in a good way) and flats last a long time, much longer than roundwounds(although the plains will obviously have to be replaced more often).

The owners booklet that came with your 325 might contain a word or two about where yours came fitted with Elixers. It is definitely mentioned in my booklet. My booklet is the one that you can download here: http://www.maton.com.au/service/warranty-care.html
