yo boss freaks hehehe
i have dd-2 /bf-2/ge-7 and want to get sound like ratm (morello)
so i need settings for dd-2/bf-2 and ge-7
can somebody translate Effect level is set to max,
whilst the feedback is set to 2 repeats and the
medium delay is 400-450 milliseconds into
e.level =10 or 5 o clock
f.back = ?
d.time = ?
mode = ?
Ibanez Flanger The 'Green Super Old' flanger pedal is set for
a wide slow flange. A rumbling, dynamic sound this sound i want to get for bf-2
menual = ?
depth = ?
rate = ?
res = ?

Hi there,
Not really sure what kind of Ibanez flanger you are using there. You mention a green one, could it be that the metal case has been painted or................are you using one of the Soundtank series or.................
The Boss BF-2 can be compared to the Ibanez FL-9, but the FL-9 has a timedelay knob, and it can create sounds which you cannot get with the BF-2.
You are using the DD-2 in combination with the BF-2 so you may be able to recreate the sounds of the FL-9. Guess it is just up to experimenting and see how close you can come.

Morello's Rig is here (http://www.guitargeek.com), note the Crybaby Wah, and Original Whammy WH-1, this greatly effected his sound, also take not that the Flanger is pinkish.
I'm not saying this totally right, but it's usually fairly accurate. |

Thanks for that image Bossarea, so seems that it is a flanger from the 10series, will be about the same as the 9series, so a flanger which has a very different character compared to the BF-2.
With a bit or tweaking you should be able to get it to sound similar to the BF-2, just use your GE-7 and your delay to the best of your needs!!!
