Does anyone of you use these pedals to perform tricks, as in sounds you can get you could not get otherwise?

I have tried to get copy the gated sound of the BF-3, but neither the NF-1 or NS-2 is fast enough for that.

During my experiments I discovered that both noisegates are very good at exaggerating a compressed sound, you can get that clicky sound very easily.

Here is my setup for that sound:

Connected to the loop of the NS2: Compressor->NF1->CS1

Gtr. goes straight into NS-2 and from there it is out into an amp.

The NF-1 in the loop had a moderate decay time whereas the NS-2 was set to its shortest possible decay.

Compressor one was set to moderate compression range, the CS-1 was set to max. compression.

Overal sound was very pronounced. Think of what a CS-3 can do, but than without any hiss.

For fun I added a Phaser after the CS-1, and had this set to moderate speed. Results: Think of early Van Halen, very thick Phasing.
