I have problems with the pedal chain sequence of my effects.Recently here is my pedal chain order.By the way I'm using a hybrid set-up, a combination of multi effects and analogs.
My pedal chain
Guitar>Wah>Boss CS-3>Artec twinhead>Boss DS-1>Vox Satchurator>Boss SD-1>KOrg ax1500g(multieffects)>Boss CE-5>Boss DD-3>Morley Vol ped>Boss DD-20> Amp
Problem is when i use the KOrg Multifx in chain, the effect i need seems a little low on volume even the master volume and effect level on it are on 10.My dirt pedals are louder even on a low level.Does this really happens if i use multi's combined with stompboxes?I use the phaser, pitchshifter, octaver and sometimes reverb on the MultifX.
Do i have to change the sequence?Do I have to put the multifx in front or last in the chain? So that all pedals have the same level of volume?By the way I use an amp without any FX loop on it.Thanks in advance guys!

| I never heard of that happening.i would see what happens if you move the board to the front or the back of the chain or maybe use a boss ls-2 and A/b the effect. |

zerksies: I dont use a/b loops in my chain,That's why I never put one, Just one chain with everything on it.I want my dirt pedals go straight to the Korg Ax1500g and then straight to my delays.
What would happened if i put the multifx in front of the chain?or in the last?
Thanks for the reply sir really appreciated it.

Hi Mindtwist
i Had a similar problem..i use a PodXTpro rack-mounted multi effects with my boss pedals... i originally just used it inline and last in my chain out to two amps for stereo..i found that it was affecting my tone and bringing the level down a bit as well..the way i found around this was probably too compilcated for you but what i did in the end was to run the pod in a small rack and out to two small homemade cabs in stereo either side of my amp..this way i had my original tone with the extra stuff the pod could provide, mainly delay/reverb and its switchable stereo effects loop to bring in some other stuff...even after doing this i ended up putting a two channel mic preamp after the pods stereo outs to boost the output and for some extra EQ before the power amp... the whole setup is working quite well now and i got a thumbs up off a staff member in a gig we play on my sound last night... ....
The bottom line is i think, the easist and best way for you to use the multi-effects would be in a effects loop on an amp...your using the ax1500g inbetween the boosters and the mod/delay pedals...can i ask what effects you use it for as if your using it for extra mod and no dirt/boost i would run it and the second half of of your pedal chain in the loop...maybe make two small boards..one for the front end of the amp and the second for the loop...Satriani used to do this....

Hey there franzoni,
I use my ax1500g for modulations only (phasers, pitchshifter etc)and the drives and cab simulations on the multifx are off.I use my stompboxes(satchurator,ds-1,twinhead,sd-1) as my main drives and my other pedals (CS-3,CE-5)modulation, compressor, and (DD-3,DD-20)are delays
The main problem I have is I dont have an effects loop on my amp at home.I don't have a small rack and cabs either. The line is always on mono.I use a line 6 spider 3 75watt combo amp at home.
That's good for you man you work your way out of your rig problem.Mine's a different scenario because of the equipments I use.
