Would you like a scan of mine, or are you looking for a more recent revision?

Hi stahlhart
That would be wonderful, not to mention that you will have an (RAB) Remote Archival Backup, in case of fire or theft...

How large is the file/s?
PM me, & will give you a link to a mail account that can handle larger files than my current address.

Or do you have it in multiple type PDF or other scans.

Of course, this would be for backup reference proposes only.

Regards Dr. Bob

I don't have the means to create .PDF files, but I could do large, uncompressed .TIFs that should convert nicely, if you do.

I'll get to work on it this weekend...

Edit -- how do we go about getting a copy to everyone who asked?

typical... low cost operations while they charge outragous prices for their goods.........read the wiki page about sterling ball who bought out musicman with ernie in the mid 80's...he was the first to pay his workers a decent liviable salary because he wanted to retain thier expertise(remember some of these people had been there from the start with Leo)but as the man said himself....

quote from wiki...."In 2001, Sterling Ball decided to institute a living wage at the plant. The entry level wage would be $10.10 per hour. One third of the then current workforce of 226 people got a raise. He cited the need to attract and retain quality employees, and the moral responsibility to provide his employees with a decent income. Fewer than twenty percent of the residents in San Luis Obispo county can afford to buy a house. He had this to say in a New Times interview concerning the decision, "It's contrary to a lot of traditional business theories, I know, but I did it because it's the right thing to do, fundamentally."

a lot of the bigger people in business like fender should take note...............

P.S ...DeFrag i would take a copy if you could send it to me bro'....

Hi DeFrag & stahlhart

Count me as 1 down, for backup reference.
FYI DeFrag I was getting approx 80K download speed.

I have an 18 page PDF document, that has 31-32 pages in it. is that correct?
Did stahlhart also scan the rest of the book with Schematics?

Thanks so much to both of you.

I have a CD that has the now out of print
Radiotron Valve Designers handbook Edition 4, as bunch of PDF's, it's "The Definitive" handbook if you are into valve gear.
It can be very heavy going, if that's what you are looking for, in fact, a quick glance of stahlhart document, it looks like Aspen took a some info from the RDH4.

I am willing to offer this as my contribution, to the advancement of Valve Technical knowledge on the forum.
If it's Ok for DeFrag to host the files on his server.

You will learn to both love & hate this book.
It took me well over 10 years of searching to get my hands on a copy.

The story is for another time & post...
DeFrag I will PM you.
stahlhart do you want me to CC you on the files?
And how big is your mail space?
I can send a few PDF's at a time, if you think I will clog your mail space?

Regards & thanks again Dr. Bob

I heard a bad rumour about Rickenbacker.. too few employees, and inability to increase production despite ENORMOUS demand (and 2+ year wait times for ANY new instrument).. time to pick up an old 4001 and tuck it away!

My Ric360MG was hanging on a wall a local music shop before I bought it. Luckily, I called around & it was withing 30 min of me & exactly what I wanted. But yes, generally speaking, Rics are almost a couple years out. Your best bet would be to get a list of shops in surrounding states & start calling. They're bound to have what you want.
