SUNBURST, you may not have a lot of petals but the ones you have are pretty cool.
Here's my list.
DS-1 HM-2 MZ-2 FZ-2 MT-2 PW-2 MD-2 CH-1 PS-5 DD-6 PH-3 (I got 2 of these bad boys) DC-3 DM-2 BF-2 BF-3 EH-2 TR-2 PN-2 AW-3
never realized how bad I need a OVERDRIVE. I also need some EQ'S and a noise gate. Oh, and the smilies represent how I feel about the pedal.

Huh? Isn't the BF-3 gnasty digital? |

With how simple the Fuzz Face circuit is you could build it a lot cheaper than buying Jim Dunlop's overpriced version. |

| The BF-3 is digital but I don't like to call it gnasty. I much prefer it to the BF-2 but I favour the HF-2 in front of both the BF models. |

I like the BF-3 for it's cool panning effect. Most of my favorite pedals that I own are digital (DC-3, BF-3, DD-6).
I still need to get my hands on a HF-2. I'm interested in it because of the ocatve higher thing that it's known for. |

"Boss Advertisement text(2002):
A Legendary Flanging Pedal is Reborn Building on the 20-year legacy of the famous BOSS BF-2[...]"
I don't think that it is building on the 20-year legacy if the circuits are nothing alike. |

| The footcontroller is a little overpriced, but if you open up your Uni-Vibe you'll see it's a very complicated and expensive circuit. Multi-layered circuit board, at least a dozen big integrated cicuits, and almost every resistor in there is a low-tolerance metal film resistor. |

Welcome to the forum, bosing.
It looks like you started off your collection with some real tasty pedals there. |

Dam Bosing, your into the vintage. I've been collecting for like a year I still haven't found any silver screws. In fear of some of them being fake I tend to disregard silver screws, but that's just me.

bosing, it looks like you started yr collection with some really good ones! I just bought my first silver-screw pedal, some 11 years after I bought my first Boss pedal, for a total of 34 pedals (31 different -- BF-2 MIJ and MIT plus three SD-1s -- 1 MIJ, 2 modded), all of them Boss.... bwah ha ha ha!
speaking of the BF-2/BF-3, I bought my BF-3 a couple of years ago with the intention of it replacing my MIT BF-2, but I never could dial in my two favorite BF-2 settings on it. and my MIJ BF-2 sounds noticeably different (or at least its controls are more sensitive?) from my MIT BF-2.... |

I've decided to take this discussion over to the modifications area. http://www.bossarea.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=370 |
