You prompted my memory - I'm not sure if it's a Rangemaster clone or a copy of the Hornby Skewes Treble Booster - I have got a thumbnail pic of the internals of the Hornby Skewes and they look similar to my untrained eye - but the pic is far too small to post - maybe someone else has seen that circuit and can comment?

I wouldn't know by the circuit but the colour and the yellow logo look a lot like the coloursound stuff.... some of these companies were under licence to some of the big distributors during the 70's and were not allowed to sell any of the stuff under their own name by agreement so a way around this was to market it under a different name...Marshall had this problem and got around it by slight design changes and marketing the 'new' amps under the 'Park' brand..(jim marshalls wifes maiden name) thats why the 70's park valve amps are highly regarded....just something to consider.....

You got me thinking there Franzoni, so I went and compared the paint job on the Highfield with an old Colorsound Sustain Module I have and they are very similar - slightly raised transfers and glossy finishes.

Looks like you've got a point Franzoni - I wonder if Coloursound did a treble-booster? I could compare the internals. I'll see if there is anything on the DiscoFreq site (great source of reference for non-Boss stuff incidentally).

Any luck with the investigations bro'..... some of the stuff these companies has been lost to time because records and paperwork wasn't high on the list of things to do......even with a big company like marshall pinpointing exact dates of stuff can be tough...

some of the old guys don't......but cider is very popular during the summer....bulmers(or rebadged as magniers outside of ireland) being the main one drank......"liquid bread...".... i like it.....
