Hi Everyone,
First time post for me here. Great info to be had on this site.
Anyways, I was re-doing my pedalboard. And noticed a difference between two DC warts. Any older "PSA" is spec'd at 9Vdc, where as my newer one is "PSA-T", which is spec'd at 9.6 volts.
Should I care?
I do have an old DC-2, I really like--don't want to hurt it. Wouldn't imagine it would make much difference for say a DS-1 though, but on a DD-3?.
Additional info: I'm using a Dunlop DC brick for the pedalboard, but just needed one or two more DC taps, so I added the PSA.

Thanks for any ideas
Chris

Hi chrisrbr

Did you measure the adapters under load or no load?
Or, did you actually measure them?

The DD-3 has a an internal 78L05
Which is a 3 pin 5 Volt regulator.

I can't imagine Boss making an adapter that would harm their pedals.
Not at least without a issuing some kind of warning.

Some of the newer Alkaline batteries, measure way over 9 volts when new (no load).

If you are still really concerned about damaging your DC-2, you could always run it off your standard PSA adapter.

Regards Dr. Bob
