Can anyone out there let me know how to attach the Guitar FX to the patterns so when I put the patterns into a song the fx change with the patterns. I have read the Manual from cover to cover in an attempt to come up with a solution. I can't understand why we need the TSC to be switchable with the patterns but not FX. The drums are also switchable. Even to tempo can be switched from pattern to song. In a live show situation I would only use the TSC during set up. Even when I save with the quick save function 'save all current settings' upon return to the pattern it plays the effect last used. For example in a particular song I wish to use chorus Fx for the verses and distortion in the choruses, without tap dancing!

I don't think it's possible to attach the guitar FX with individual patterns. If it is possible I would also like to know how to do it.
It seems that if one uses the "Favorite" banks we are able to save the fx with the song or pattern. In a show situation this is a awesome saving of time. There does not seem to be any reference to this facility in the Owner Manual.
I now understand the DR880 a little better after some use with it in live shows. The fx can be programmed along with songs or patterns into "Favorites" banks, So can drum sets and basses, awesome eh?
