Hey friends!
PDo you use 2 distortion/OD pedals at the same time as your main distortion?
If so, please post here what do you use and in what settings for us to know

I do - a lot of the time !!!
I prefer to run m fuzz into OD, or an OD into an OD !!!
Nearly forgot, i also like Fuzz into a Booster (turn any booster far enough and it turn into a mild dirt box !!!) |

I use a Super Overdrive MIJ as my main drive and a Metal Zone for extremes. I use both (SD-1 first) for instant feedback squeelies. Settings vary depending on the venue, but SD-1 Level @ 11 o-clock Tone @ 2 o'clock and overdrive maxxed. MT-2 all knobs @ noon. |

I have 2 main distortion sounds.
One is DF-2>DS-1>MT-2
the other is SD-1>MD-2
The settings are where all the magic happens |

mattoqua is right. settings are EVERYTHING.
for my OD chain im running a BD-2 into a MD-2 for rhythym. or if im going to solo i go SD-1 into MD-2. the SD-1 gives it more highs and mids than the BD-2
my NEW metal sound is actually a OD-1 (SS MIJ w/box ) into a HM-2. it saddens me to announce the departure of my MT-2 from my chain. its been in there since the start, but just doesnt hack it anymore. ive moved on to bigger and better (sounding) things anyway, i find the OD-1 to be a rather "trebly" OD. i find for metal rhythym with palm mutes and such you CANT have a booster that adds bass. i always found that any bass boost whatsoever, and you would lose your edge and your tone would go flabby; especially with palm mutes. the OD-1 is nice and transparent and just pushes the HM-2 that little bit further and since its trebly, it adds edge. |

| I use BD2 & MT2 for rhythms, BD2 & DS1 for leads. All 3 on for endless sustain after the end of a rock song. All modded of course. Amps drive is always on. |

Suggested settings to use MT-2 + XT-2 (or viceversa, maybe) for rythm and lead??? They are in the NS-2 loop. I also have a CS-3 which is always on at the beginning of the loop. |

I'm not a big fan of using a compressor always on, I think that it takes the crunch away (which can be good, depending on what you want)... I may turn it on when I want a little more sustain doing a solo... but I use it almost exclusively for cleans...
I found a good setting with the DS-1, following the advise of many of the people here, I think I'll start using the DS-1 for my "hard" distortion sound... when I want a more vintage feel in my sound, I'll lower the gain on the DS-1 and put an OD-3 after it. The DS-1 sounds great with the compressor before it, for leads... |

I generally use my Rat/Big Muff/HM-2 most of the time (two at once) and all three of them for noise oblivion etc etc. You can never have too many distortions/fuzzes.

Hi Rijavia Welcome to the Forum.
Do you run the SD-1 into the MD-2?

I love that none of you answered his question and gave up your prize setting combinations
Edit: I lied Strat714 did, I need to read more good. |

I once (briefly) used a SD-1 and a MT-2, before I bought a tube amp.
a word of warning: even with my old amp turned up only halfway, I blew its speakers by using both pedals at the same time on the amp's dirty channel. (this seems to be a problem mainly with older solid-state amps, though.) |

HM-2 into MZ-2 or use my SD-1 or FZ-2 to boost either before hard to use three dirts without losing it
Stratospere, I was looking at the schems for the od-1, it has a low cut of about 338Hz, basically mid-range n up sound Pacafeliz's OD-1's have a 0.0047uf/100k and 0.047/10k The SD-1 has way more bass added at about 88Hz |

| I like running my Rat II into my PW-2 for a nice chunky overdrive. I set the Rat's distortion relatively low with the PW-2 mainly used as a bass boost with a little bit of gain. It works nicely. |
