Hey, i'm new here, but i like this forum a lot, i dont own a lot of pedals, i just have 2 boss analogs (sd-1 & mt2), but the point is that i wanna start colecting old or "vintage" boss pedals, a friend is selling a Boss HR-2 in 700Bfs (thats between 100 and 152 USD) its in almost pristine condition MIT pink label i think that is a 95' its a good buy? i think that it comes with the box and manual, its a good idea buy this, or buy a new ps-5. remember... the economic situation of my country is terrible now and it's imposible to buy dolars! so maybe this is the better chance to buy this "oldie" pedal because i cant use "Evilbay" to buy for a couple of years... (yeah i hate my president) |

| if you could get it for closer to 100usd i would but they are not the same pedal one is a harmonist and on is a pitch shifter. So if you are looking for the pitch shifter sound the harmonist won'y do it |

I think those are becoming increasingly rare.. minty/boxed ANY pedal from that time period isn't going to be easy to find. If you overspend on this pedal, some good deal in the future will balance it all out! Welcome to the dangerous and frivolous world of BOSS collecting! |

That is really cool, I love guitar harmonies. It also sounds like the octaves track pretty well. |

I bought a new NOS(never off shelf, new old stock) HR-2 a few years back for i belive about 120 US so if its minty and boxed i think it is a good deal. going to look up what i payed now.
Edit: http://www.bossarea.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1237&SearchTerms=HR-2 Well i didn't pay that much for it about 95 US but its still good to the price bossarea mentioned. |

Aw that sucks Hate it when you just miss something. Guitars should always take priorities over pedals... To a certain extent Be sure to show us your LP when you get it! |

I know its a great pedal, but with my financial situation, i cant spend the serious cash that he is asking for that one (doing the convertion Bsf to USD) are like 320 or 350 USD, im not working because i will start the university soon (i'm just 18 ), and im saving for the black les paul custom that i have allways wanted, a little bit off topic, but what do you think about this one, http://cgi.ebay.com/ESP-Edwards-E-LP-92CD-Black-Duncan-Long-Tenon-New-Japan_W0QQitemZ380204043190QQcmdZViewItemQQptZGuitar?hash=item5885ed4bb6 i know that's not a gibby, but ITS VEEEEERY CLOSE, when i get that guitar, i will start with soooome serious pedals, by the moment im using a pod x3 live, i know that modeling isn't as good like a tube amp, but the effects are kinda good, and the Engl and Diezel amp models keeps me happy. |
