Hellow all. I have what is probably a dumb question. Hopefully an easy answer.

So I have a Boss RC-2 loop station pedal. Great pedal by the way. But, it can't figure out how to save my loops once I've made them. You are supposed to be able to save up to 11 loops. I've read the manual several times and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I think it tells me to press and hold the drum beat button for two seconds when I have the right knob turned to "write". That doesn't seem to work for me. The Drum Beat button flashes but never saves anything for me. Am I doing something wrong or is my pedal malfunctioning?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry I can't help on this one, I'm stuck in the 80's with a PSM-5. But let me welcome you to the forum

Turn the track knob to a empty track

Create a loop

Then turn the other knob to write

Then hit the select button

turn the knob back to play and hit the pedal....
