We got a few inches of nice, powdery snow today in Garden State Central today and last night. Probably 3-4 inches of accumulation.
It slowed me down a little, but didn't stop me from delivering firewood... I managed to do a trade of firewood and cash for some unwanted pedals as well. So now I have a quite nice HM-2 from 1986 and a seventies(?) MXR Distortion +.
They both sound great in their own way. But you folks with snow need to get appropriate tire chains! And you folks with the high temperatures need to stay inside with the AC cranked and get plenty of fluids

Hi Disco Stu.
Thanks for the snow, I feel a bit better already. They are predicting 40+ degC for tomorrow Saturday.
If you PM me, I'll send you some pics of the melted Mr Whippie ice-cream truck.
.....toilets flush backwards .....

Sound like you need a plumber who understands reverse syphonic action..... i think i might know someone........
we had our heaviest snowfall so far yesterday about 50mm in a couple of hours but what happened was when it got dark, freezing artic winds dropped the temp to -5 so it all froze to solid ice..i was out in the taxi last night and it was very dangerous on the roads,i gave up about 1am....but i saw some guys having good fun in empty carparks.... handbrake city...... the sun is out now and it's starting to thaw...we have a big game tommorrow in Dublin in the rugby against France(6 Nations) so i hope it's ok for then.... |

^^^ I meant not to imply that they flush backwards on a vertical scale, rather that the toilet or sink Vortex is 180 degrees in opposition to the other hemisphere, while still directed toward the center of the Earth.
Maybe I'm mistaken, but don't sinks and toilets spiral in a counterclockwise helix in the Southern Hemisphere? Is this just another old wives' tale? |

Yeah, I kinda knew that...I was just havin' a little fun at Dr Bob's expense...
Could you just imagine if "toilet flushing backwards" meant the bowl throwing it back? Ewwwww! |

Sorry, you just made me remember the scene from "The Hills Have Eyes II" where the (still alive) guy is found in the Porto-let. |
