The man himself does deserve it. The company, eurghmm... Leo Fender wasn't happy at all with the quality of the instruments after he sold his company.

Leo deserves it.....as does Les Paul while he's still vertical and Ted MaCarty/Seth Lover for having the vision in gibson during the 50's ...

Fender just raised their prices, unlike Gibson, who I feel have been overpriced for years. Besides, Gibson has to pay for the research and development of Kiefer Sutherland signature guitars and robots...
