Yes, I noticed too that it dissapeared. I had my eyes on it, and was planning a bid... |

| So the PH-1 Boxes were a different color then the stomp boxes themselves? that is odd. is the PH-1 the only case of this or not? I dont have enough older pedal boxes to make a call |

Interesting indeed. I never really thought about it until I read your post Dingus. It looked however like it was the original box, but you are right, the boxes have been in the same colour as the pedal though the years as far as I have seen...

All other PH-1 boxes I've seen has been green so this looks like an oddball. I first thought the colour might have faded but there's a picture of it from 2 angles and it looks light blue.
The DD-3 box has a yellowy/beige colour with green text. The pedal itself is white and blue. That's the current box, don't know if it was always like that. |

Doh, doh, doh
This PH-1 was withdrawn because it turned out it wasn't working properly. It was relisted and I figured I would get it at the second attempt. With the price at £41 and 10 seconds left I was sure to snipe it with my ludicrous £60 bid.
...and that's when my internet connection chose to fail me. No one put it another bid and the phaser sold for £41.
Maybe I'm not supposed to have a PH-1? The first one I bought disappeared in the mail and this one has eluded me twice now. I got so depressed I pushed the buy it now button on a $290 SG-1

Ouch!
We saw your SG-1 buy today. I came here tonight to see if you mentioned it, but I didn't realize the story behind it!
At least you can enjoy the SG. Don't you already have one of those?
Grace and peace,
Steve

I don't have the SG-1. It's the last of the really hard ones so collecting should be easier from now on unless the PH-1 still insists on giving me trouble.

It does take some ease of your mind when you have all three of the Holy Grails, doesnt it...?
Then at least the most expensive part of the collecting is finally done, hehe. |
