Hi guys, for those of you looking to make your own pedalboard I really suggest giving this a read: http://www.prestonsmusic.com/2009/09/30/gorm_pedalboard/
It looks very much like a Pedaltrain and wont set you back more than £20
I have a Diago Showman coming sometime this week Pictures soooooon! |

Yeah i made something similar when i was living in Taiwan but unfortunately the pedals never got to live on it as they were always on my road-worthy board as i was gigging. Now i'm not gigging yet so i think i'll build another one. I'm sure you can see why i didn't ship the scrap wood to the Netherlands |

Pedaltrains do look great, and work just as well but idk if I could justify spending over 200 quid on one with a hardcase GAKs idea of next day delivery is clearly flawed. Ordered my board Monday still not here |

| Why would you ship it from the US anyway we have loads of stores in Europe that stock pedaltrain's. Though you did get yours for a great price! |

The guy was about an hour+a half away drive but he wanted £200 and managed to haggle him down. Boy was he surprised to see a 14 year old knock on his door |

My Diago Showman finally arrived and I was really impressed... The build quality is fantastic... More velcro than you'll ever need... Sturdy as the boss pedals themselves with latches that'll actually last longer than some of the pedals they're protecting (Unlike a certain BCB-60 plastic piece of... )... I still have room to add some bits n pieces... Thinking Reverb, Flanger, Trem n a Tuner. Anyway more 2MP crap pics from my phone!

Got some space in there - You need more pedals
I've got a Gigman, but I'm thinking about expanding to a Tour/Showman - How many Boss compacts do you estimate could fit in the Showman? 14? 16? (i.e. side-by-side, two rows and with space for patch cables between) |

I have a few other pedals but nothing worthy of sitting in there I'm guessing 12+ easily, maybe upto 16 if you had tiny cables |

Hello all,
I used to post on here a while back but got very lazy and just lurked so i thought its about time to post.
heres my pedalboard (s)
I went from this

to this

to this

to this

which was fine untill I thought it would be easy to build a bigger pedalboard so when i get some new pedals there would be room for them. so i set about building my own, now Ive never actually built anything in my life and did'nt even own a saw! one sunday i went down to the local b+q and got some bits to start making! one saw one mitre box some mdf and some nails and screws and a sunday afternoon later i ended up with this

I then ordered some carpet cloth off ebay and the weekend after started to cover it which is alot harder than i thought it would be!!

A trip to maplins to get all the hardware and screw it all together it ended up like this

stuck my pedals in and now it looks like this!

As you can see theres lots of room for new things!!
hope i havent bored any of you.

well the 1st one broke!! I sent it back to turnkey in london where i bought it from the claimed they had sent a new one out and that did exactly the same thing so i think they just sent my old one back! luckily my girlfriend was living in london at the time so she took it in to the shop and got it swapped, I then hit hard times ( well I say hard times I bought a 1972 les paul custom) and sold it on ebay for more money than i paid for it! . I would like another one though it was a great pedal. |
