^^^ amen!
thats what got me into metal. that album still takes me back to age 13. Mustaine could have dragged that album out to like 3 albums, theres SO MANY great riffs on peace sells. pretty much on every song theres a killer intro riff followed by a killer chorus with killer riffs in between. definately underrated |

Uhm... I grow up with music and musicians (my brother was a drummer) dunno... Beatles, Lucio Battisti... hard to say... I know the moment when I've decided to be a "rocker": 1975 "Rock and roll all nite/Anything for my baby" (KISS) bought by my grand sister. That single started all! |

Robin Trower's Bridge of Sighs...I grew up on Hendrix, Clapton, Page, but when I heard that slow, highly effected space-blues I figured "I can play like that!" (Wrong...)

| The first real song I learnt to play on the guitar was 'Hotel California' by the Eagles which I still love to play. |

| the first song which made me want to play was highway star by deep purple. it has all the elements: speed, heavy guitar drive, dual lead solo.most guys my age were more into stuff by america, csn, james taylor. i was completely opposite. i was already listening to the who, ledzep, clapton, scorpions. i tried to imitate the distorted sound by plugging an acoustic with pickup into my aunts stereo. the speakers distorted. |

| Tough question. For me it was not any one song. I started playing a nylon string acoustic at about age 12 for about a year and gave it up (it was an awful guitar - wide neck, high action and hard to play). Recently I decided to pick it up again (PRS Santana SE and Martin DCME) more because I've always been into music and decided I had to learn to play something other than air guitar but not because of any one song. |
