I just won a boss Ce-2 on evilbay for £31. It's green label MIT.
Good deal? I think it was pretty good.
Also, does anyone have any good settings or combinations they've found with their Ce-2s? This is my first one! I've been getting into the older pedals after a friend of mine A/B'd his old DS-1 with his new one. I still like my new pedals, but I prefer the old ones. So far I have a DM-2, a MZ-2, a CS-3 (all MIJ) and the MIT CE-2 I just won. Total outlay for all four was £120! |

I just picked up a black label Japan CE-2, the corners are are scrathced up, for $39.99 us. I thought it was a fair deal, anyone agree?
Until I get a really clean one for a good deal, this will be my main chorus pedal. The CE-2 sounds great!!! I am loving it!
I also grabbed a DF-2 Super Distortion Feedbacker, black label Japan today for $65. It is really clean except for the name someone scrathed on the bottom, front panel (geez!). I always wanted one, so I went and spent the money. Not sure if that was a deal or not, thoughts? The orginal name model is a little on the rare side, is it not? |

those are both great deals 
nice deal with the DM-2, CE-2, and MZ-2 for under ~$240
and it's thought of that the super distortion is rarer than the super feedbacker, but I think theres about the same of each, and the earlier sometimes costs a little more. The DF-2 has a lot of prices that it sells for, Ive seen it sell for about $170, and ive also seen people pass on one for $50. I bought one for $75, and another with no paint left on it for $30. I flipped the $30 one for $130 right away though, since I didnt need 2.
$65 is a good deal though, Id say a little cheaper than the average, and its not too bad of a pedal either.  |

I can give you the same advice I got when I got my CE-2
slow and deep
or to get a neat vibtrato sound, crank the Rate and zero the Depth |

Mattoqua, and the cs-3 as well as the the other three for ~$240 
And christomephisto, I didn't know about the vibrato sound, but i've heard you can get a real thick lead tone. Would that be the slow and shallow? |

Im still new to the ce-2, but the vibrato sound is more audiable with the depth cranked also.
Theres nothing shallow about the ce-2, it has plenty of character 
It sounds really nice with the rate at about 3-4 and depth at about 6-7
slow and deep i was told by the master of ce-2's, Dr.Bob he has five
