Anyone have an Opinion on if the MIJ or MIT DS-2 is better? I have a MIT, but have no way of comparing to a MIJ, so if anyone has had the pleasure of both could comment I would appreciate it, I realize that MIJ's are considered generically better, but I was wondering if it was something so noticable as the DS-1 MIJ vs MIT or CS-3 MIJ vs MIT.
Thanks! |

ok, the mij DS2 is a bit stronger and milder that mit ones. i happen to own a mit unit first and i was dissappointed with the quality of distortion, DS1's sound better. but with the mij DS2,in my case, i noticed a smoother distortion. it's like a HF2 compared to a mit BF2. with the CS3, i really haven't got a chance to own a mij one but the mit units produce a hiss sound when some of the knobs are cranked.

Thank you guys,
guess I need some extra tools to check which pedal is a mij and a mit one.
Can anyone of you around here any general pointers? I know you have been discussing the MIJ and MIT in great detail, and I have read a fair bit, but as to opening the pedals I am still not really sure what to look out for. cheers. |
