| Yeah those are sweet. I just build the electronic parts of a pedal and then never bother putting them into an enclosure because i have no drill and the pre-drilled enclosures never have the right amount of holes. But the BYOC stuff comes with the enclosures so thats awesome! |

Hi zerksies & Guys
From Memory our member "Jack" is a moderator on theier forum And I belive he has built a few pedals as well. Hey zerksies: Keep us up to date, as I know you will, if you buy-build one.
I have looked a a few kits as well. Unfortunately BYOC gear is Horrendously expensive (with a capital H) out here in Oz. It's probably the local dealer's mark up.
Regards Dr. Bob |

I have never built one, but I kinda know a bit about all this...
The BYOC kits look very good to my eye. Quality boards, good components, clear instructions.
I'd say they are a good option for a first build.

I think i am gonna pull the trigger on the clone, Now i have to sell about 5 or 6 boss pedals first. I tried a kit from Smallbear the real easy one was to hard for me to do back then, but i think i will give this a shot. I re-read the article on premier guitar on them last night.I have been getting into more guitar projects cause as i am getting older i have to save my hands, carpul tunnel sucks still after the surgury.I try to limit my playing to about an hour a day.But i still enjoy guitar related stuff, and these are the perfect projects

be very careful...building is like smoking crack...you'll be back for more...mark my words...take it from me, I played around w/ it and now i'm an addict ...hey Zerksies, if your having problems building I suggest you start w/ a easier circuit like a true bypass splitter or a basic fuzz circuit...most of those are no more than 9 parts and are really hard to muck up...if your going the BOYC route I recommend the Leeds Fuzz...fairly easy build and sounds dreamy |

Yeah, I'm one of the mods on the Envelope Filter forum. If you've never built a pedal before, don't buy these kits unless you are ready to buy more.... |

| They're great pedals. I've built the Ultimate Fuzz (which I think is now called the E.S.V Fuzz), Large Beaver and the Analog Flanger. Great fun to build and they sound good too. |
