Ive just purchased two Pearl microphones on a fleemarket for next to nothing. Unfortunatly no cables were included... The microphone has some kind of 4-pin male connector (in a square). Does anyone know where to get the cable/adpater for this?

I think Pearl is a Swedish company that used (still active?) to make microphones for churches, schools etc. The ones I have used was good. Seach the net for information!
I thought Pearl were japanese....? their mostly known for making drums but for a while back in the 70's and 80's they made guitars, amps and pedals...could it be they made microphones as well....??..i know one of the guys in our band has a Pearl guitar amp that isn't working 100% and i couldn't find anything on the net about it.....
There are two different companies. One japaneses making drums and some other stuff and one swedish making really good microphones. My microphone is however made by the japanese company... There must be some other company who used the 4-pin plug.
Well I tried but failed to upload a picture but: It has an On/Off switch!
I'm guessing here... but it's possible your mic was off an old reel to reel tape machine or similar and the 4th pin is from the on/off switch which would let you leave the machine in pause and the 'on' would start the machine remotely...i have an old Sony stereo mic for recording that had this function...the jack had 3 mono pins and i couldn't figure out what the 3rd pin was for...! i managed to find out in the end after some searching...i cut the jack off the end and rewired it with two mono and left the 3rd pin dead...like i said i'm not 100% but it might give you something to go on.....
