Maybe I have too much time on my hands. Or maybe I'm just obsessed with boss pedals. Anyway I love looking at peoples' pedal board arrangements. I made this up in Microsoft paint by copying and pasting pictures off the internet. It's almost exactly to scale to how mine actually looks. This is how my arrangement goes:
Guitar >> Morley Wah Pedal >> Planet Waves tuner >> NS-2 (noise suppressor) >> OD-20 (overdrive zone) >> EQ-20 (equalizer) >> CE-5 (chorus) >> DD-20 (giga delay) >> RC-20XL (loop station) >> Peavey triple XXX halfstack All on the Furman spb-8 powered pedalboard.
Feel free to post pics of your own setups or comment on mine. I'm fairly new to the stompbox thing and the order of effects and all that. I have been using a processor for the last 10 years, and I just recently have switched to individual pedals. It's much better.

I've worked the order & routing over to take full advantage of the stereo capabilities of the SPB-8 so I can run it through a Radial Engineering ProD2 stereo direct-box into a Mackie DFX-12 then a pair of SRM350s.

the SYB-5 is in LFO mode, overdubbing the SYB-3 sounds. |

It's not an overhead shot, but here's one from today of me and the current setup in action.

There was an OC-2 in that empty spot, but it ran out of batteries mid-set. |

It's a good idea, but I think it would end up costing a small fortune, also the signals could interfere with each other, or possibly someones wireless internet But yeah it's annoying having a vast mass of cables around the pedals, often I'll go to stomp on a distortion or whatever and there will be a cable in the recess between the footpad and the pedal, so the pedal won't move. |

this is a good idea. although even with complex setups, its still easy to keep everything clean if you take the time.

I think it would be a good idea to make a pedal board thick with empy space beneath and some holes take out the end part of the cables, so we can place all the cable under the pedal. Something like an upside down drawer.

Maybe this will help.
This is my setup, and I am very happy with it. Pedal Pad makes a great product (Lights sold separately!! Heheh!) Check it out: http://www.pedalpad.com/Pedal-Pad-Pedal-Boards.htm

I like to think of it as "Vegas Style"
It is actually nice to turn the lights in the room out, sit down infront of the board and play. |

That is the idea. And what about adding some smoke machines and fireworks?
