Those Blackheart 5W amps are great. They are even a better platform for Boss pedals than the VJ amps. They have lots of clean headroom for a 5W amp and sound great right out of the box. I swapped out the Chinese tubes for JJs, which usually makes a big difference, but not so with the Little Giant. In fact, I don't have any future plans to mod my BH amps at all. I totally dig them stock. The only criticism I can think of at the moment is that the combo is friggin' heavy for the amount of wattage it puts out 
I hope to own one of their 15W Handsom Devil heads one day. Maybe a combo.
