New to the forum and haven't spent a lot of time looking so sorry if this has been covered. My DM2 works with a battery, but not with ext pwr supply; cuts out as soon as ext pwr is plugged in. I don't need the option to run with both as this pedal is on a Furman board with pwr. I just want to run off the ext pwr. Thanks

The DM-2 is an older pedal that uses the ACA power adapter. If this is your problem there is a solution, at the bottom of this page.

Thanks. That makes sense. Back in the day I used to run this with a PSA adapter and a PSM-5 daisy chained with a CE2, OD1, and CS2. I can see what's happening now.

Thanks Dr. Bob. Can I call you DB?

By the way the daisy chain fix only works when chained up to a PSA compatible box. When chained up to another older box neither one works; at least not with my Furman supply on the board. Unless someone can tell me why I shouldn't I'm going to bypass D1 and R2 and bring regulated 9V in through the battery clip.

I've done the D1/R2 mod on mine. Works a treat.
