Here is a tip on a very good sounding and compact stereo system...

Hook up two Roland Micro Cubes, and youre all set!

I recently discovered the potential of the Micro Cube after buying one, so I ended up buying another. For playing at home I have found this to be very good sounding and compact stereo system. And the Micro Cube also goes very well with Boss pedals. Highly recommended.

I'm sure the microcube could take the load without exploding. I'm more concerned that it's targeted towards guitar players and doesn't have the frequency range that you need for synth stuff.

I have since about a year the same set-up as Sunburst, its so good you cant believe it!
Micro Cubes are very, very good as guitar amplifiers in bedroom enviroment. Two of them are just far out....

As far as pedals with the Cube, beware when using compressor as the Cube has one built in (non-adjustable). And two compressors.... well...

I forgot to say that it was Goran who talked me into this, so I guess I have to thank him for that...

Well Sunburst, it was obvious so you had probably got yourself two anyway, maybe a little later.
To have two Cubes is good if you want to jam at low volumes with a friend, the Cube is rather fine sounding with bass at the JC-setting.
