i have been experimenting and am wondering if i have enough cables etc to power all of my pedals
and are my dist pedals in a decent order?
my current setup (and configuration)is:
i have one 1SPOT hooked up to the eight (capacity)
guitar > PSM-5 > TU-2 > MT-2 > HM-2 > DS-1 > GE-7 > CH-1 > DD-7 > NF-1 > (not hooked up in the chain right now) Rocktek Flanger (not hooked up in the chain right now)
do i need to get another 1SPOT?....or can i somehow use the PSM-5 or TU-2 for more power for the 9th and 10th pedals
you just need to know the mili-amps of each pedal and the max amount of mili-amps for the one spot.You might be able to use more then eight but i don't know the specs of the one spot. most peadl use about 20 mili-amps.

I agree Zerk I set mine up lightest to heaviest of course I look at his setup and they all look heavy ok maybe not the DS1 so much. I have a lot of distortion pedals but the 3 in my line right now are DN2 OD3 SD2 I hear a lot of guys don't like the DN2 and it's not for the heavy metal guy but to me where it really shines is in it's lower settings I only have the drive up to about 9:00 and using single coils instead of humbuckers into a Mesa Rectoverb sounds real good
Usually if i put like an overdrive first with just a little grit then a distortion i can add to the tone of the distortion. but try them out experiment. you might be surprized. wah usually go first in the chain but tom morello put his last in the chain and most drool over his distorted tones. see what you come up with pedal order is just a guideline not a set order
I prefer the other way heaviest to lightest. Dist into Drive. But more importantly I try to keep it loudest to quietest. The biggest problem I have when stacking distortions is the volume difference from a single pedal to a combined.
