I attached an external pedal to my RC-2. (I also tried with a guitar cable and a piece of metal to shorten the free end to make sure my ex-pedal works correct.)

After stopping a pre-recorded loop by hitting the external pedal once I hit it several times to change the tempo. After that I used the RC-2 pedal to start the loop again. But now the loop just stops after a second. The left top led is flashing rapidly when changing the tempo and it seems that it has to stop flashing before a loop is played back in a right way (a few seconds). This does not happen when using the internal tap-tempo button (I can set the tempo right away). I have erased a few loops to make sure that the memory is sufficient.

Have anyone experienced (or willing to try) this.

Problem seems to be solved.

My external pedals work the oposite way. I.e. when the pedal is pressed the circuit is closed (short cirquit). The pedals ment to be used open the cirquit (cut) when the pedal is pressed.
