| if you don't want tone loss, i would suggest putting what pedals you don't use the most in a loop of a pedal like a ls-2 |

I've heard the whammy is a real tone sucker and like zerksies suggested something like an LS-2 or a couple of guys on the forum Laurie and Scarymonsta make true bypass loopers that would be a big help with keeping the whammy out of the way while not in use..the other pedals i don't think would cause a big problem..as for EQ's ..personally i don't use one anymore in my pedals but the GE-7 isn't bad..... |

| From what I heard, the WH1 isnt as bad as the WH4 for tone suckage. I really like what Paul Gilbert does with the GE7... You should check it out! And the idea of using a LS-2 seems good |

will look at the ge-7, but could you guys tell me how to use the ls-2. look like tricky with input and the output. i read somewhere on the other forum wh-1 can be modded into by pass mod. thinking about doin' that in future. and about my setup. should i put bf-2 before dd-7 or the opposite?

I personally put my flanger in the NS-2 loop before my DD7. A flanger is a wave, and if you put it before the delay it'll repeat the wave exactly how it went into the pedal the first time. But if you put your flanger after the delay, every delay will have a different flanger sound. Its all down to personal taste, neither are wrong!
I think the LS2 just splits the signal into 2 paths, so the main path without the whammy in wouldnt be affected atall by the whammys tone suckage. Or maybe you could put your whammy in the bypass loop of an NS-2? Not sure if that'd work however it works for my flanger. Plus the NS-2 cuts alot of the noise from my single coil pickups (I also play a telecaster) |

i think i like my setup. thank you for help me a bit. just wondering how to reduce the suck tone thing. and noisy sound come from the pedal. if i switch the rat and the wh-1 in the same time there will be a buzz. wonder where did it come from. does power supply have nothing to do with that sound? or maybe i should buy a Noise Suppressor? or maybe it's from those cables?

| well the best thing for pedals are batteries, but they are expensive and a pain to change all the time. I would say go for the voodoo labs pedal power, it has individual transformers for each pedal |

This method is called "soldering" in English:

The George L cables are clamped, not soldered as usual cables. |

| So how can you tell if your cables are soldered or clamped? Just rip them apart? |

No, just the George L's are clamped. That makes them special. But don't mix up "special" with "excellent"! |

okay after read this page http://www.stinkfoot.se/andreas/diy/articles/george.htm i do now understand, the cables are not soldered at all. they screw together. so now i can make my own george l's cables with a more cheaper plug. that's pretty easy. |
