The Boss book from Hal Leonard ( HL00330943 / ISBN 0-634-04480-X ) contains a CD on which track 16 is an example of the VB2 with the same passage played without the effect and then with the vibrato engaged. I must have played that track a 1000 times and now that I finally have a VB2 I can play my own riff! Well worth the money if you decide to commit to one.
Oh, I'm sorry - $40 + (1) Kidney.I ran across it at a store that obviously was feeling generous in their pricing and an employee was going to purchase it himself but gave it up for me to buy. Which rarely happens in my experience. And between finding it and the actually getting it in my hands with a receipt part ( the guy was off for a day ), I prayed. Something along the lines of - "I know you've already spoiled me with pedals... But I've come across this one..." Maybe the Big Guy is a Boss fan?
