Standard SG with 20 years of honest road wear. Sounds fantastic...

The old brown, made in Canada, TKL is the case of choice for Gibson owners, DeFrag. I would trade my black Les Paul case for one of those in a heartbeat. Does it say Gibson USA on the front Laurie? |

Very nice SG! Those pink-lined cases are indeed in demand!!
It has some features that make me think it's a Reissue model, not a standard.. the Std usually has a full pickguard. Also, the headstock is slightly wider and pointier than the average Gibson headstock. Both those features signify a 61 reissue (even better would be a 62, which they haven't made in a number of years). Hope it IS! |

Hmmm... I could be wrong about it being a standard at that. How would I tell definitively? Some sort of serial number look-up? |

| It definitely looks like a '61 reissue to me. Amazing guitar - one of my favorite Gibsons. |
